Print & Finishing Technologies
The print method used to produce a card directly impacts colour accuracy, detail, consistency and suitability for personalisation. Different technologies are better suited to different volumes, designs and programme requirements. By offering multiple print methods in-house, we ensure the right approach is used.
Lithographic Printing
Lithographic printing is ideal for high-volume card programmes where colour accuracy, fine detail and consistency are critical. It delivers sharp reproduction across complex designs, supporting CMYK, Pantone colours and specialist security inks such as invisible UV features.
Our lithographic production uses modern UV-curing technology to achieve precise detail, minimal dot gain and reliable results across long print runs.
Digital Printing
Digital printing provides flexibility, speed and high-quality output, making it well-suited to personalised card programmes and shorter production runs. It enables variable data, mass personalisation and rapid turnaround without compromising print quality.
Our digital production capability supports thicker substrates and specialist inks, allowing personalised cards to be produced efficiently while maintaining a consistent, professional finish.
Screen Printing
Screen printing allows the application of specialist inks and finishes that can’t be achieved through standard print methods. It is used to add functional and decorative elements, such as metallic, fluorescent and textured inks, signature panels and spot UV effects.
This process enables controlled ink application and enhanced durability, making it ideal for cards requiring additional visual impact or surface functionality.
Specialist Finishing Capabilities
Finishing is the stage at which printed sheets are protected, converted and prepared for use. This includes lamination for durability, precision cutting and punching, and conversion into final formats such as cards or key fobs.
Finishing also plays a role in how a card looks and feels, supporting premium surface treatments and edge finishes where required. By managing specialist finishing in-house, we maintain control over accuracy, consistency and quality throughout production, even on complex or high-volume programmes.
