Routine Information Collection

All web servers track basic information about their visitors.  This information includes, but is not limited to, IP addresses, browser details, timestamps and referring pages.  None of this information can personally identify specific visitors to this site.  The information is tracked for routine administration and maintenance purposes.

This website uses Google AdWords remarketing service to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site, for example using the contact form to make an enquiry. This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page, or a site in the Google Display network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the Plastic Card Services® website. Of course, any data collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

We may use Google Analytics for the following purposes where data will be retained for 50 months before being automatically deleted by Google:

Remarketing (showing our ads on third party websites). Plastic Card Services® and third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to inform, optimise and serve ads based on someone’s past visits to our website. Google Display Network Impression Reporting. Plastic Card Services® and third-party vendors, use cookies to report how our ad impressions, other uses of ad services and interactions with these ad impressions and ad services are related to visits to our site. Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. Plastic Card Services® use data from Google’s Interest-based advertising or 3rd-party audience data (such as age, gender and interests) with Google Analytics to inform our marketing strategy.

Use of personally identifiable information

Occasionally we would like to let you know about offers, ideas, products and services available from Plastic Card Services that we think you might be interested in. Where you have consented to us doing so, we may do this through the post, by email or phone.

We won’t send you marketing messages if you tell us not to, but we will still need to send you occasional service-related messages. If you wish to amend your marketing preferences, you can do so either by contacting your account manager, unsubscribing from our mailing list or emailing talk@certuscardgroup.com

Controlling Your Privacy

Note that you can change your browser settings to disable cookies if you have privacy concerns.  Disabling cookies for all sites is not recommended as it may interfere with your use of some sites. The best option is to disable or enable cookies on a per-site basis.
