Our Story
For more than four decades, we’ve been helping brands connect with their customers through beautifully made cards and carefully considered packaging. Today, Certus Card Group brings together that heritage, expertise and craft, delivering complete, end-to-end card solutions with confidence and clarity.
Certus was formed in 2025, uniting two established UK manufacturers: Incodia International and Precision Card Services (formerly Plastic Card Services). Together, they created a single group built on shared values, complementary capabilities and a commitment to doing things properly.
Our History
Where it all began
Our story begins in 1979 with the formation of Incodia International. Over the decades, the business built a strong reputation for producing high-quality printed cards and packaging, working closely with retail and FMCG brands to deliver products that not only functioned perfectly but also enhanced the customer experience.
Alongside card production, Incodia developed deep expertise in printed packaging and carriers, understanding how cards are presented, protected and delivered — whether on shelf, through the post or as part of a wider brand journey. That focus on detail, finish and presentation remains a defining part of Certus today.

A complementary specialism
In 1995, Plastic Card Services was incorporated and later rebranded as Precision Card Services to reflect the technical capability and scale it had achieved. PCS became known for its expertise in plastic card manufacturing, personalisation, encoding and secure fulfilment, supporting large-scale programmes across retail, loyalty, membership and fuel sectors.
Where Incodia excelled in paperboard cards and packaging, PCS brought depth in plastic cards, data handling and secure mailing. The two businesses grew in parallel, serving similar markets, solving similar challenges and sharing the same commitment to quality and reliability.
Stronger together
In March 2025, Incodia International and Precision Card Services formally came together under a single brand: Certus Card Group.
The name Certus comes from the Latin for certain, a word that perfectly captures what we stand for. From consultation and design through to manufacture, personalisation, fulfilment and delivery, we give our customers confidence at every stage.
Today, Certus operates from three specialist UK sites, offering complete in-house control across plastic and paperboard card production, secure personalisation, carrier manufacture, mailing and fulfilment. It’s an integrated approach that removes complexity, reduces risk and delivers consistency at scale.

Our logo reflects both our craft and our story.
At its centre are two square forms, each with signature rounded corners, a direct reference to the cards we manufacture every day. Those rounded corners represent precision, quality and attention to detail: the small things that make a big difference.
Where the two shapes meet symbolises the coming together of Incodia and Precision Card Services, two established businesses uniting to form one confident group. The result is a single, balanced mark that reflects collaboration, strength and shared purpose.
