Our Approach
Data plays a critical role in card personalisation, production and fulfilment. Different programmes require different approaches depending on the structure of the data, security requirements and how cards will be distributed. Certus manages these processes carefully to ensure data is handled securely and accurately throughout production.
Data Preparation
Customer data is often structured for internal systems rather than card production. Our data services bridge that gap by validating, formatting and preparing data so it is production-ready before it enters personalisation.
We support both one-off data files and ongoing data programmes, including regular or daily data feeds. Working closely with customer data teams, we manage data processing and handover into production using established workflows that maintain accuracy, consistency and control, even at scale.
Data Security
Data security and accuracy are embedded throughout our data services, supported by recognised information security and quality standards that provide independent verification of our controls and processes.
Data is handled within controlled environments, with restricted access, secure systems and defined workflows that govern how information is processed at every stage.
OSTIUM
PIN Distribution
For programmes requiring additional security, we support controlled PIN distribution alongside card fulfilment. This includes traditional split-mail workflows, where the card and PIN are delivered separately, reducing fraud risk and ensuring sensitive information is protected in transit.
We also offer secure digital PIN services through Ostium, providing an alternative to physical PIN mailers. This includes secure PIN generation and digital delivery, allowing customers to choose the most appropriate distribution method for their programme. Digital PIN delivery can be used alongside physical card fulfilment or as part of a fully digital model, offering flexibility without compromising security.
